Social Issues Plays
(formerly known as The Court)
The training ground where our kids and teens stand up against real issues facing today's youth.
Through the medium of modern theatrical productions, The Court exposes Indianapolis teenagers to the problems facing today’s youth. The exposure our program provides is unique because our productions are written via collaborations between local artists and local youth, are performed solely by youth actors, and have post-performance interactive sessions facilitated by the youth actors and a health professional.
The Court has performed for The Children's Museum of Greater Indianapolis, Mental Health America, MCCOY Youth, Girls Inc., Central Indiana Community Foundation, Indiana Author's Award Dinner, The Propylauem, The IndyFringe Festival, Peace and Learning Center's Teen Summit, Drug Free Marion County, United Way, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Indianapolis, Crispus Attucks High School, Michigan City High School, Roncalli High School, The Central Library, and several anti-bullying symposiums.
